Test and Assignment Deadline Policy
This policy applies to every student in the class, in every instance of a test or a major deadline, without exception.
Students will be given advance notice before a scheduled test or an assignment due date. If the student has a conflict with the date that they know of in advance, they must deal with that conflict prior to the designated date; i.e. speak to Mrs. Wright. If on the day of the test/assignment due date, a student is unable to be present for reasons beyond his/her control, that student must phone the school, 435 6288, and leave a message on my voice mail (D. Wright, #55915). The message must indicate the reason for absence. It is expected that in the case of an assignment deadline, the student will make all efforts to get the assignment to school. Assignments that are submitted to my mailbox, must be stamped and recorded by a secretary.
If a student unexpectedly misses a test or assignment deadline and there is no message on Mrs. Wright’s voice mail that day, the student will receive an automatic mark of 0 on the test or assignment.
Do not forget this policy!!!
